Mission and Services:

The IT Center is here to help! We can help with replacing lost or broken ID cards, changing/resetting passwords, virus scans on computers, facilitating computer repairs, learning Moodle and/or Google Apps, answering Box questions, getting on the WiFi, andhelping download Office 365. Butwe can also helpwith the creation and design of digital projects such as WordPress sites, videos, timelines, concept maps, graphs in Excel, and many more.


Here are a few items to help you get started as an incoming undergraduate student at Bridgewater College:


MyBC is the "hub" of information for students. You can check your email from MyBC, look at your class schedule, get access to Student Planning, and read about upcoming events on campus, as well as many more things (Note: the link to MyBC can also be found at the top right corner of nearly college owned web pages).

To change or reset your Bridgewater password, please go to

New passwords cannot contain your name or parts of your previous password. Passwords need to be 8-15 characters long with a special character, number, and/or upper case letter.

Student Device Requirement: BYOD Policy:

Bridgewater College has a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy for students. The College provides Microsoft Office for both PC and Macs free of charge. Virtual computer labs have been created for students to access the campus core software, such as Mathmatica and SPSS. For more information, please go to our Knowledgebase article-


Akademos is the online textbook store where you will find out what textbooks are needed for courses.

I.D. Cards:

Lost or broken ID cards can be replaced at the IT Center in Bowman Hall 200 between the hours of 8:00-4:30, Monday through Friday.

Free Office 365:

Microsoft Office 365 is available for free installation on up to 5 devices for Bridgewater College students, staff, and faculty for PCs and Macs.

Wireless WiFi:

Wireless is provided from all students, faculty, and staff on campus.BCSecureWiFiis our secure network for your personal laptop, tablet, and/or smartphone.BCWifiis our network for gaming devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, and guests.

WEPA Printing:

On campus, there are printing kiosks called WEPA, Wireless Everywhere Print Anywhere. With WEPA, you have the ability to print to any of these kiosks for a fee from any device with the appropriate app or driver installed. There are 15 different stations throughout campus in 11 different buildings. Funds for printing can be added to your WEPA account through the website or at any of the kiosks.

Box gives you unlimited cloud storage and the ability to access your files from any device with Wifi connection and the Box app install on smart phones and tablets. Collaboration is easily done through file and folder sharing and the integration with Office Online. Box is another great option for backing up files.

Google Drive:

Google Drive is one of the cloud storage options available to students. Individual files or folders can be shared through Google Drive. Google Drive is also a good option for backing up files.
